    Description

Perched on West Kelowna’s sun-dappled shores, Kalamoir Regional Park offers a compact yet varied hiking experience across 27.6 hectares of waterfront, grassland, and hillside terrain.

The park features four named trails, totalling about 4.0 km:
Waterfront Trail (1.5 km, easy): a flat, stroller-friendly lakeside path.
Sunnyside Trail (0.6 km, moderate): rises gently through forest to views.
Upper Rim Trail (1.5 km, moderate): climbs into grasslands with lake vistas.
Mike Passmore Trail (0.6 km, difficult): short, steep, and rugged.

From cottonwood groves to wildflower-dotted slopes, the terrain invites curiosity and calm. Spring brings Arrowleaf balsamroot, summer reveals Mariposa lilies and cactus bloom, and fall paints the hills golden.

Dogs are welcome, with off-leash access at designated dog beaches. The park also offers a family beach, swim dock, gravel parking, and a washroom near the entrance off Collens Hill Road.

Whether it’s a lakeside wander or wildflower-filled climb, Kalamoir delivers four-season trails and expansive Okanagan views.
